Prayer for our Nation and Election
This month we have spent time praying for our nation during our gathering.
Let's continue to pray for our country as we get closer to election day.
You can set aside time to pray individually, as a family or MC. You can prayer walk your neighborhood.
Pray for your own heart: This election season will show us if we have placed our hope in a candidate, a party, or an issue.
Pray for God to reveal where you are trusting or hoping in anything other than him.
Pray James 1:19 - That you would be quick to hear, slow to speak, and slow to get angry, especially if you are having political discussions
Pray for wisdom as you vote and engage others in political discussions.
Pray for our country: We are seeing so much division, anger, and hostility in so many areas - Politics, Pandemic response, Racial divisions, economic and social upheaval
Pray for Christians to speak out and stand up for the afflicted, marginalized, poor and hurting
Pray for a safe and issue free voting around the country and locally.
Pray for unity after the election no matter who wins.
Pray for all those running for office, for their families and staffs. This is a stressful season for them.
Pray for the Church (us and the Big C Church)
Pray for God's Kingdom to come and reign here on Earth
Pray for God's will to be done
Pray for us to trust God no matter what.
